Just wondered whether anybody has ever had a go at stripping down a 16v kjet throttle body linkage? I am restoring a 16v and the linkage will let it down, so I fancied having a go, but having done a couple of searches, it doesn't look like many people have attempted it. I'm guessing this is because it can't be done, but just wondered if this is true?

it can be done, just fiddly. got to take out the 2 throttle butterflys for starters, make a note of how they are fitted. then its a case of undo all the fixings till they fall apart, the springs are fiddly again make a careful note of how they go. take lots of photos, then make a thread when you're done ;)

Interesting - I will give it a go then. I can always get another if it goes tragically wrong. I will do a thread...
