Nope they won't fit a 16v head and even if they did they would'nt work very well

Use an Audi 5 cylinder turbo manifold. Chop off the 5th runner - make sure it's the 5th!!!!

    But you'd needto useKKK turbo. K24(S2), K26(RS2) or a K26/27(If you're brave) hybrid.

oh, if i chop off the 5th bit, is this then a direct fit or does it require further fabrication ? sorry for the dumb ass question

Direct fit. If you chop off the 1st runner - it's scrap.

Try looking on a UR Quattro/S2 owners club forums.

hey great got a manifold winging its way to me, just on the hunt for a tubby and suitableintercooler now. was thinking off a 2wd cossie one, mainly due to the size and length, reckon it should fit behind the big bumper ok.

    //-->hi
there i am in the procees of building/gathering the parts fo a 2l16vt
engine and when i went to get a 2wd cossie intercooler they adviced me
to get the 4wd one instead because apparently it is better. Dont ask me
why but i have also seen on other forums that they say the 4wd cossie
i/c is better and my uncle tells me it is also a common upgrade on 2wd
    cossies.

yeah, i imagine it can hild more boost and has a bigger surface area.

what headgasket you gonna use, or how are you dropping the compression.

I am using the 1.8 16v kr head with twin exhaust cams and the 2l 8v 2e
engine block.Doing this lowers the compression and means i can also use
the 2e head gasket. If you want a exhaust manifold custom built go to
vw vortex and the person with the user name killa makes them to order.
thats where who i am getting mine from. Apart from that it is a porsche
throttle body or the r6 throttle bodies i have if i can work it out and
cossie injectors and intercooler and a 200sx s14a turbocharger.

As regards to a intercooler just get one from a sprinter van coz it's more or less the same size as a cossie 4wd one. I called a guy on ebay bout one and he told me it was 70+vat.
    so still a good price
