I know a S2 turbo manifold fits to a 16V with modifications, but has anyone actually tried this?

I just want to know if there is enough turbo to car bulkhead clearance ?

    thanks.

theres a guy on ed38forum that sells them, on ebay and privately, done for a 16v (just one of the branches chopped off and the welded up) may be best to try and track him down.

daljsd, i bought an 'ABY' S2 engine yesterday with the intention of building a 16vt for my MK1. The disadvantage to MK2 owners have is the wastegate will have clearance problems with the MK2 servo and master cylinder. On MK1s it's ok because the servo and master cylinder is on the other side.

I know Rajmirch sells 16vt manifolds which use Garrett charger flanges, wheras the S2/RS2 ones use different KKK flanges.

    HTH mate.

Wastegate should'nt be a problem as it sits quite central. No clearance issues in my caddy and have seen the same set up in MK2 and Raddo's :)
