1.8t 180bhp and want to push around 260-280bhp

Can anyone point in the right direction i know there are lots of theories on different ways to reach that target. Guess i just wanna see what the options are before getting stuck into it.

    Thanks

To achieve a number like that, for a start you need another turbo, larger than a "K04". So some kind of hybrid
You will also require other supporting components, such as rods depending on the engine code.
As these engines are old, it might mean a full rebuild on the lot including the cylinder head.

a nice fresh K04-023 should get you there? Easiest way would be to get all the components from a TT / S3 and a good tune id of said.

But as toyotec says these engines are at their limit torque wise at that level and they aren't getting any younger so its rods as a minimum and then while you are in there you'll open a can of worms if you are doing it properly.

Unless you just send it and prepare to replace the motor if it goes pop.

I've got loads of bits going if you need any.
