Hi, This is my first golf and I picked it up at the weekend. It has not covered more than 1000miles in the last 3yrs. It has just had a full service and the brakes all changes by the guy I brought it from (my local mechanic). There are new filters, HT leads and dizzy etc. I am sure it is in need of a tune up as it feels very gutless and smells very strongly of petrol at the exhaust. Any idea of cost for a tune up? Any recommendations local to Kent? It has only covered 74k. There are many other little bits here and there that need sorting but as long as it runs right the rest will fall into place. Thanks Rob
