2.0TFSI Tuning

    Hi
    Just wondered if anyone had any experience or ideas regarding tuning the MKV GTI. I know that Morego gets some good press but I'm not too sure about having a new chip as opposed to the remap offered by Jabbasport. For info will probably start with a new forge diverter valve and Milltek exhaust.

    i had a forge dv/spacer and it was too loud so i removed it , my car has revo stage 2 software with a turbo back milltek and neuspeed p-flow which all work tougther very well and make the mk5 that little bit better .

    but im now concedering going for a larger turbo but not sure what route to take ?

    REVO worth considering.. done a couple so far.. nice flexible engine.

    Was chatting to Kev and Nick @ Revo yesterday about these. They were saying the Edition 30 can give over 300bhp with software and decent fuel .

    Claire's R32 is up for sale soon, no prizes for guessing what she's looking at getting

    Not tuned up mk5 gti engine, but detuned S3(270hp) unit apparently.

    no a e30 gti gary is talking about , they are the same unit

    Thanks for all the info. Believe the ED30 has a larger turbo than the standard GTI.

    yeh the e30 and s3 run ko4 turbos with stronger internals

    Guys can I just ask... those of you who are running higher boost have you upgraded the diverter valve? Is it necessary as have heard that this is the first thing to give post tuning with the possibility of remains of the broken component entering the turbo.
    Any thoughts before I visit Forge?[:D]

    i would mate , not sure if the turbo could suck in the broke bits i belive the diaphram just splits .

    good idea, i had to replace my DV to a uprated forge one. get the APR remap i have, its exactly what your lookin for. CARBONIO air intake is good 2.

    thersa issue of pvw that has the stages of tuing these engine.

    i think the issue is about 2-3months ago

    My GTI is going in for a ko4 upgrade.
