So I bought an Audi A4 2.5 TDI last week for a daily and I'm having a slight issue. After it's warmed up at any speed about 60 the whole car starts to vibrate under any power. It goes away after about 5 miles but I'm wondering what could cause this? I'm having it serviced tomorrow too, is there anything I should have looked at?

Have you scanned it for fault codes? Quite possibly sensor related, or fuel starvation due to an old fuel filter.

However, with modern stuff it's better to have an educated guess to avoid replacing bits just for the sake of it.

I'll ask the garage to check for fault codes

Well it's had a service but I'm still having this issue so I'm thinking of getting a fault code reader but I have no idea what I need[:s]. Any suggestions?

Garage not able to check for them. I'm sure we must have someone in your area with VAGCOM on a laptop, and a cable. You're a bit far from me though.

I'm gonna have to ask on here I guess because I have more issues now. The speedo and odometer have stopped working now and it seems very down on power

I took it to a garage yesterday and they found the sensor in the gearbox corroded from water ingress. They cleaned it up and it worked last night but not in the rain this morning.
