I feel that probably the Golf is VW's best selling car, but VW have not really done any other anniversary models have they? (or have they?) i mean, what about a anniversary Beetle or Polo?

The little rabbit looks wicked, wander how many of those are gonna appear on every Golf or VW? Wander how much it costs? Then we'll have some bast#rds pinching then off the cars and damaging paintwork in the process!!!!

Yeah those Anniversary editions are pretty slick, I'm kinda surprised that VW decided them to bring them here across the ocean, as the general populous seems to be much more akin to the Jetta's here. Not that I'm complaining ;)
I wonder though if theres any differences in the cars between your version and the North American version here. Anyone know?

There are a few differences, but not a lot.

They are called the 20th Anni because the USA didnt get the GTI the same time as us.

Its available in different colours to UK spec cars and has R32 wheels instead. Plus only the 180bhp 1.8T is available

They did 'commemerative' editions of the classic beetle... to mark end of production in Germany, and more recently in Mexico.

But I think the main reason that none of the other VW models don't get similar treatment is really because they never caused the impact that the Golf GTI did... it's not really the 'Golf' as such which is being acknowledged... it's the GTI brand, because of what it acheieved, and what it began.
