HELLO im ere again.....new car ,new thread .... SOLD the mk3 couple of days ago and now just picked up my new car 1998 passat 1.8 20v turbo in black bit different but theres not many about and wanted to be different , plus its the 20vt so gives me some choice with upping the power easily .... here it is now CLEAN ..TOOK 4 HOURS !!!!!! Yes it is standard now ..my plans are to have it euro for the show seasons...and keep it subtle . THATS NOT A SCRATCH BY THE WAY!! plans=== smooth front bumper fk de-badged grille clear side repeaters lowered 40mm tinted windows 18inch wheels small spoiler on boot chipped(210bhp!!) induction kit dump valve chrome bits leather tv/dvd ....... and this is just the start ....... watch this space .!!! nope i sold it as it is .....have many new ideas for passat.....pkus they dont fit ..pcd are 112 on these pics are now above .....yeah got okay price that i was happy with for golf .....

Loved the Mk3's progress so i think this Passat should be an awesome car to keep an eye on! Keep the updates coming as and when they happen!
no worries boys and girls will do ... i think the KAMEI grille is first and wheels next 18inch rs6 ..unless something else catches my eye ...i had 8 sets of wheels on my golf over 14months!!! want an exhaust too...think i may get powerflow to sort that one out and have something one off !! and also engine 210bhp + sounds a good figure ..induction kit ..samco hoses ..bling under there little spoiler on the boot not ott chrome handle covers and mirror covers like the audis lowered 40mm not gonna bother re stereo i dont think as the standard is ace already ...but we,ll see. DEBT ME ?!?
====ACTUALLY the stereo isnt that good once cranked up ..so may have a re-think there ??....new head unit and speakers me thinks..... first mods today are--painted the vw badge on boot black next week- chrome mirror covers chrome outside door handles crystal side repeaters -----oh and also a VEBA DVD PLAYER and widescreen tft for car !!!!...
POLICE WAGON..PMSL ..... na its not one of those pal.dont worry.... the passat is actually quite a good handling car for a big car...but the HUGE fat tyres and small wheels dont help ..once the 18inch are on with better tyres and lowered a bit it will be ace .....too much body roll at moment .. the lad mailed me today his mates love my golf ....glad its gone to a good home ....if you live near london watch out for it ... another mod today....polished tax disc holder and TURBO badge , just to let everyone know !!.... cheers guys ant
oh yes ..think those wheels are a bit out of my price range though??? ...but its gona be smooth and low-ish... --got my NEW veba dvd player today for the car..and have bought a widescreen tft from petevr6 for it !! ..so gonna work out when and how to wire it all up??.. still looking at which wheels to get as have seen some interesting designs ,.....may even go for 17inch but a bit wide ??.... ordered the crstal side repeaters/chrome wing mirror covers and chrome handle covers today too. im not gonna do a sig till its looking PHAT !!
