I say we all Email "The Golf", and ask for someone else to do the column. Like 800g's, Prof or Golden.
just go onto Drews site,he posts on there, goes by the name of crasher, let rip with them questions
LOL at the comments! Not good words for customer retention! I know you need to keep as many customers as you can in his game, comments like that could help him go out of business at the end of the day. I dealt with Roy before, he fed me no bullpoo and was extremely helpful when I queried the order I had.
Is this actually related to the title of the topic?! My 2.0l 16V seems to shift my Golf okay. Testing an R32 in an hour. That should be plenty methinks.
It's the charming way that Mr Cresswell rips the pi55 out of your car and mostly talks nonsense that keeps me going back there time after time.............. TSC, a magazine column for me would be fun but i know nowt really, it would be more like a transcription of Ross Nobles standup show...........for proper vw advice .......send for 800gs
In the MK3 buying guide a while back, he said the 16v was too gutless for words and the 8v was the motor to go for. Everyone's entitled to an opinion I suppose. Tit.
PVW LEAGUE TABLES....What car/engine sits at the top of the front wheel drive class above 4 turbo cars and 2 charged? Oh it's a 2.0 16v Pathetic unit Whats the address for this forum that he posts on? Lets go fire him up! +whats this about the brakes Tub? Edited by: Vento Mike

[cough]http://http://www.campaignregister.co.uk/index2.htm[/cough] NOTHING to do with ME! Edited by: Vento Mike
Sorry for bumping an extremely old thread but i just came across this. And i thought i was the only one who had probs with this guy cresswell. You guys crack me up. Roy never gave me any poo on the phone either i usually just put the phone down if cresswell starts giving me crap then phone back and ask for roy
didnt creswell laugh at a customer for having a mk2 vr6, humiliated the customer infront of the grease monkies. So the guy smacked him in the face
OMG - i have just choked laughing - in what possible way could the 8v mk3 gti be better than the 16v? perhaps it has better MPG, more low down, cheaper insurance all things that have nothing to do with a GTI badge. Ferrari 1.4 diesel anyone?
really p***** me off when he wrote a buying guide for the mk1 gti and said something like 99% are utter crap. what a tit.
i agree with him in a way since he is talking about mk3 golfs abf in mk2 yes.....but i dont recal any quick mk3's with it. im sure markgolf would have something to say about fitting the vr6 engine
