What are you planning for the engine?
I've recently bought a golf 4-motion

 

Trying to keep the petrol tank full mainly.... No mods for a while, Im happy with 204 BHP for the time being - plus Im broke anyway.

Ultimately maybe a chip and exhaust depending on insurance...

 

Fancy going for a drink tomorrow night? ACEFECFEFEFCFDFFEFC?? Mike?

I was wondering about a chip. Does anyone else know of any of these engines being chipped and what the gains were? The obvious place seems to be AMD.

Sounds good to me mate, time and place? I went down to Fezzy Park tonight but couldnt find any VW - except a 5DR MK2 that passed me twice

As I understand the Revo chip gives about 18BHP, bringing it up to 222BHP... might be wrong though

Ooooh, I've just been out for a spin in a Golf 4motion and I'm even more envious now!! They just grip and go...WOW! Must get saving: I WILL have a Bora or Golf 4motion!!

 

Its so worth it, still not used to it yet. Love it.

The seats are probably my favourite part. As for taxis...at 1 a mile maybe!
