ok so my 4mo daily looks a bit:

    [IMG] [xx(]

but I'd rather it looked a bit more:

    [IMG]

As far as I can see, its the front and rear valance, R32 skirts and the wheels. Are those the only differences? Sometimes the devil is in the detail, like ride height or something.

So the help I need is

a bit of spot the difference

    then
    Name that wheel

    followed by
find a dealer who sells the valance trim and skirts

And no, I wont be be welding up the back doors to make it a 3door :p
    Thanks ladies and gentlemen,

    oma

ooh ps my handbrake button rattles, anyone know a clever fix for this?

    Its showing an anniversary now!

Headlights are different on the anniversary, they are darkened. Do you have xenons on your 4 motion?

I think the wheels are BBS RC but i could be wrong

I also have a feeling the mirrors are slightly different on the anniversary and r32, I seem to remember them being smaller but I could of imagined it I suppose!

You may struggle to get darkened lenses for xenons, dont know if it was an option on anni's but if it was it will more than likely be a rare one

You may have to modify the rear valence slightly to accomodate the exhaust, the petrol and diesel rear valences are different, the petrol one has a cutout for a single exhaust

as said above the mirrors are smaller the same as the r32 you can all so make lupo mirrors housing fit the golf base plate
the drivers one i smaller and if you mix and match euro or jap you can to smaller or two not so small
the lupo ones are 150mm and 130mm long
and polo 6n2 mirrors housing shoud work as well

see hear on how to do it http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/291549.aspx?PageIndex=1

the anni side skirts will fit both 3 or 5 door if you get r32 side skirts you would have to get 5 door ones as the 3 door one dont fit 5 door cars

not a big fan for the color coded valances on the anni

you can get them off ebay for 50 each or on some of the forums from
vw the are over 300 each

you can get JOM copys for 50

JOM PLASTIC FRONT ANNIVERSARY VALANCE SPOILER GOLF 4
ANNIVERSARY FRONT SPOILER - ABS PLASTIC - PERFECT FIT

just stay away from the polish ones as the are fiberglass

Brilliant, thanks Mushy, just bought the JOM front and found some genuine second hand skirts, I'm up to 150 quid so far, which aint bad.

I'm on the scour for a rear at the moment, but its a trickier decision because the 4mo has twin tailpipes and the anni has a single round. So I need a plan for the exhaust first. Any suggestions?

Oh yar, I think that looks proper good  You'd really have to know what you were looking at to spot that it isnt OEM.

There's a mint set of refurbed BBS RC's on ebay - 750 - to bid or not to bid... that is the question [:s]

I'd go with the single tbh, it looks better compared to the twin.
