Hi everyone, I'm cleaning some parts up ready for widetracking the MK2.
I want to keep the 4 stud wheels but I'm concerned that the back of the 4 stud hubs won't mate properly with the face of the 5 stud driveshafts.

Am I right in thinking that I'll need to fit outer cv's from a mk2 to the shafts from a Corrado?

    Cheers
    Mathew.

    Yeah, that`s my understanding.

The 5-stud flange needs the matching CV`s, but if keeping 4-stud, press the 4-stud flanges into the new bearing/hub and use some `old` 4-stud compatible CV`s.

The splines are different on the 5-stud flanges compared to the 4-stud.

Only photos I can find at the moment.
4-stud flange, note the fewer splines for the CV

    Thanks Nige
I'll have a look at what I've got kicking around. I'm also tempted to just use all 5 stud parts and re-drill for 4 stud, this way leaves the door open for 5 stud wheels in future.
Which ever way it goes down, it's happening soon
