... not seen that before.

Drove a 1.2 MkV a while back and was well impressed with the package.

 

The pPolo Mk 1 came on00 the market a couple months later than the Audi 50
Misczyk Tuning and Nothelle Tuning had build each an Audi 50 to gr2 rules
Engines were by Dr Schrick > 1150 cc -115 PS @ 8000 rpm

Bickel Tuning ran at first a gr2 Polo in 1975
and in 1977 a Turbo charged gr5 Polo`s in the DRM ( Deutsche Rennsport Meistershaft)
