i always thought the power just came from the increased flow? more air/fuel = more power? my k-jet vs carbs tech illustration red=air flow. flames = combustion. see?

Very true the low manifold vaccum created by high overlap cams doesn't lift the airflow flap well, or smoothly.
Yep, ITB`s and an ecu with Alpha-n tuning is probably the best way to go with a wildly cammed valver.
