45cc V8, Port fuel Injected and powered by a Megasquirt 2. Really?

    The specs are:
    • 45cc V8 Built from scratch from parts turned on the lathe
    • Megasquirt MS2 fuel injection.
    • 24 tooth trigger wheel for Megasquirt.
    • Single fuel injector made from Punto injector internals.
    • Pressurised oil system.
    • Drilled crank.
    • Alloy block.
    • Cast iron wet liners.
    • Vernier cam pulleys.
    • Walbro fuel pump.
    • Tungsten alloy flywheel.
    • Bead blasted and anodised finish.
    • Throttle position sensor on butterfly shaft
    • Custom made 4 in 1 exhaust headers.

    RC plane ones I imagine. You can get some really tiny ones.

    Crank is easy - cams could be scaled down easily using a real cam as the template for grinder/follower - you would get great res on the smaller cams too.

    Its a lovely engine - the bonus is that it runs and not just spinning on compressed air :thumbup:

    Not to take from Eds thread, but these two are also top notch, spot the barbour pole dissy on the IL6,

    Sorry - correct, Ill admit, I didnt look at it,[:$] just assumed there was only one air v12 out there! Ill look at it now lol
