50mm inlet fitted today on 1.8 16v

    What works on one engine does'nt neccessarily mean it will work on another..
    example.. schrick cams for Gary and IanB. Same spec.. but results did'nt match.

    I have a different 16v manifold to the lot of you.. ;)

    I'm guessing throttle housing will 'point a different way' eh mr B? ;)

    aye... its on the wrong side as is the steering wheel LOL

    I thought until I looked that it was 50mm but it is more like 40mm runners.

    Its still there for now..
    step by step it will receive mods. (money prevailing)

    oddball the 50mm has a plenam size the correct capacity for a 1.8 on stock ish cams allegedly

    the 42 is 2.0 sized, but when you mix in cams etc who knows?

    How does that work for a ABF manifold then? IIRC it's 50 or 52mm on an Ibiza.
