6" is a bit small is it not ? Smallest they come in usually is 12" or thereabouts iirc. Cue for the next several posts of "I have a 6" one" fnar fnar.
yeah i know the standard sizes tend to be 8,10,12,16 in etc but i do know you can get dinky ones, just dont know where. and i could do with getting one before i resort to the 12lb sledgehammer
What are you trying to do? Maybe we can suggest another way to do it? I'd think any 6 inch ones would be crap quality toy ones anyway.
brake pipes trying to undo the rusted on and therefore rounded off nut on the brake pipe. i chopped it off and fitted new brake pipe in the end. the old bloke i work with at work has some small stilsons (6in) that he bought at a motor/mech/tool stall a few years back. decent quality and very handy, obviously they'd struggle with 6in pipe but for small stuff ideal. if anyone spots any in future let me know.
the mac tools van came round to my work yesterday and they had a set of 6inch stilsons on display. Unsure on how much they are tho.
cheers newkid, whats the company called "mactools"? they're well handy in tight spaces, might have to get in touch with mac
have had a look on www.mactools.com and can find them on there so they maybe something that our dealer has sourced from elsewhere. Will try and remember to find out next friday for you if he still has them
snap on came round today and had a 8" stilson on. 18 + VAT will see what mac tools is when he comes round Mac tools bloke did the same as snap on. They are both 8inch stilsons tho but plenty small enough. Sorry i thought the snap on one was 6inch because they looked really small but they was 8 inch ones. Although looking through the snap on catalogue it seems they do do them and but they are only 1 or 2 pound cheaper than the 8 inch ones.
