does anyone know if the mk2 8v coolant hoses will be fine for the mk1? i have my mk1 hoses now (arrived today) but i fancy the full set.
Woo-hoo!!! Got my spangly new red hoses this afternoon. Quality looks superb and the service/delivery was spot on. And as above, no duty paid either. Now for those posh clips!!!
well ive bitten the bullet and ordered some mk2 hoses to see if they can be made to fit the mk1..... if they do ill let people know,

Got mine today, looks lurrrvly! will put them on this weekend with a bit of luck and post some pics when i do!
ordered some mk1 and mk2 hoses hope something fits . rupe look at the seat ibiza 16v as it shows the pipe you are talking about
I have got all mine, but im yet to actually look at fitting the mk2 hoses to the mk1, i may get round to it this weekend if i get my uni work done.
Not fitted mine yet, but the top rad hose is about 40mm too long,need to get a joiner, another will need shortening, and one dosen't seem to go anywhere at mo. My motor is a 8v k-jet, anyone else have similar problems? Wondered if they were done for Digi's.
Mine is an 8v Digi and all i've done at the mo is offer the hoses up to the stock hoses in the bay and all looks good. I'm getting them fitted on the 6th of Dec so fingers crossed they'll fit fine.
