I have just had to replace the front drivers side lighting loom on my '87 Mk2 16v. All seems to have gone fine as she starts, drives fine and all the electrics are working. However, when I turn the lights on I get the wipers at the same time! I also used the fuse box out of the donar loom - any suggestions to where I have gone wrong would be much appreciated! Thanks.
Alls good now but I am not convinced its fully correct. Has anyone got a photo or diagram of the fuse box layout, front and back for a late '87 Golf GTi? Any help would be much appreciated! When running the idle stabilisation valve seems to be always on (buzzing)...is this correct? Thanks.
