dwell angles was back in the day when I was setting minis old escort points gaps ...best way to set them was looking at dwell angle

16v have air gaps ..magnetic triggers no dwell angles

    Ok I'm old :(

"what else is there?" If you don't know I'm beat also [:s] as I often think of running things past you ;)

well if you can think of any other reason for the spi and gt or cheap/genuine 16v dizzy difference id be interested to know, as i cant think of anything at all apart from the trigger window being a bit different

I ebayed off all my decent lego kits a while ago, made some good moneys. still got a massive box full of it round mum n dads just waiting for the Boy to grow up enough to start playing with it. So far he has only mastered the art of destroying my duplo efforts. but I'll get him building it if its the last thing I do

I used to gap them by just watching them... 020' was my best setting on everything, followed by a good seat of the pants dizzy tweak 'till it pinged'
In fact I used to gap my old 3.5bhp lawn mower the same..lol

That would make sense although the 16V mod would seem a bit of a mystery. I'm thinking the digifant dizzy would be more or less as difficult to modify as per the 16V, hall sender present. I can't say I've ever heard of the PB being modified, surely it must have been?
