Hi I have an '89 Golt gti 16V that I am renovaiting. The car hade an 1.8 16V turbo when I got it, but emission demand made it hard to get MOT in Norway. So I rebuild the engin with high comp pistons and ITB's, 288 shrink cam. It is an original Edition One, but got painted from black 2 mika blia at some time. and all the oem engine wiring was cut out . I have now fix som minor rust damage, and are to make the car as stock looking ass possible. Put I have som plans of adding an AGU 1.8 20vt, with o2J gearbox, and the get the car approved with this engine. and then we can let the fun begin. End game: 90 look allaround(bigbumper) G60 wheel arches. Editon one Recaros Paint AGU with som tune 300-350 bhp DSG DQ250 with tune.
