8v to 2.0l 16v

    I was considering going for a 2.0l bottom end on my 91 8v gti, however after thinking about it i think i would rather go for a 2.0l 16v. Can a 2.0l 16v engine be fitted with my current digipants injection. I don't really want to rip out everything for K-Jet.

    Also how much should i be looking at for a suitable engine.

    no get a mk3 16v engine, and loom/ecu and it'll plug straight in, and be great, 160bhp stock

    Thanks for that prof, that is just what i wanted to hear! I have got used to the 8v now and to be honest find it a little slow. Right, need to source a MK3 16vulva ;) engine!
