9 X 16 Alloys on Mk2

    I have a MK2 with the arches all ready taken care off Can i run, 9X16 alloys with 195/40 stretch tyres straight or do i need to extend the arches.

    i would say you would need gti or g60 arches or pull the originals.

    I have G60 arches already, and the original arches have already been rolled

    in that case i dont know, lol. i know 8z15's would fit on standard arches so i dont see why they wouldnt.

    you will have to cut back the metal a bit. But since the g60 arches are there,it will cover any bodges you make.

    don't try and stretch 195s over a 9" rim....205s minimum and even they're too skinny IMO

    well ok maybe it looks like the rims are running rubber bands
