    I have had a problem on my 2.0 8V since I bought it second-hand back in 1999.

    The agents here (South Africa) have ALL told me the same thing - when trying to set
    the CO2 via the VAG, the engine cuts out!

    Second-guessing agents have had me replace all of the following WITHOUT any success:
    * New HT Coil and leads
    * New wiring harness
    * New Idle potentiometer
    * New Vacuum hoses on throttle body
    * New distributor roater arm and cap
    * New ECU Relay #30 (Black)

    When I took the car in this week, I am now told that the ECU won't accept CO2 values
    sent to it via the VAG. Yet the last time I had my car in, they took an ECU from another
    MK3 8V, used it on my car and it STILL exhibited the same problem - ie engine cutting out when trying to adjust CO2!

    It looks to me like these agents no F-all about t Digifant system. Any experts out there
    who can assist me? It looks like I'll be chuking my EMS out the window and replacing it with another system like an MR Turbo / Dicktator (South African EMS)

    HELP!!!! :clap:
