Mines fine -- and yes it IS all declared!

And to make you feel better about it -- i paid 1950 for my 1990 Mk2 with a 2.0 engine and no gearbox!

It was worth at least what i paid and ChriP still wishes he had bought it for himself!

    I'm with HIC.

HIC: "Is your car modified mate?"
TUB: "Yes... it has a Mk3 2.0 16v GTI engine in it"
HIC: "OK, what we do there is change your car to the insurance group of the car the engine is from... thats 1 group higher for you so it goes up by 75. Is that still OK?"
TUB: "Thats fine... now get a pen and write down my other mods......"

     Quality.

My policy is 4 pages long listing the mods though... and i wouldn't say mines heavily modified at all!

Great when i get a producer watching the dozy bint on the desk reading through it all!

My insurance went down with a 2.0 and all mods declared, dunno whether it was because I'd used a 2.0 block from a Seat Toledo granny car though. I didnt know you'd have to produce the whole mods list if you get the usual producer... mine only runs to 2 pages plus photos. I'm with HIC btw.
