    proberbly the best mk2 ive seen on here. very impressed mate.did u ever get that square light front end? (westmoreland?) quite liked it in the end.

    Thanks, I couldn't get hold of a westmoreland front end, though it wasn't through lack of trying! This was my photoshop attempt :lol:

    Took a couple of the front mounted oil cooler while I was there.

    Front mount is performing beautifully, only a minor increase in vibration noticable from inside the car, well worth investing in one of these.

    Should be soon, its the next thing on my list. I am trying to decide if I need direct port, I will be running 100bhp shot. Oh and I need to purchase a progressive controller.

    good idea to fit that rubber mate but if it is like the stuff im thinking of the ridges do not compress very well and you might get grit and moisture in the threads .

    i have seen this happen on aircraft before and it can be a right pain in the ass

    Do you mean that dirt will work its way into the thread from the top? Making the top bolt seize in place?

    yep any dirt or grime will get in there . had it a few times on things and its a pain in the ass to sort out . prevention is better then cure !

    loving the neat touches on it!!! one of the better modded mk2's i've seen.. dont know about westmoreland front though - looks better as is. btw i am a fan of your black roof!!!
