A power ’boost’ when i lift off the gas?

    No, before you say its not a buscuit boost.

    When i have my foot to the floor (obviously on the accelerator) the cars a bit flat. As soon as i lift off the pedal the car seems to get a boost of power.

    Is this a fueling problem or what?

    Its got some kind of flat spot hasnt it...

    Have you not thought of throwing it at a specialist to sort out!! 40 odd BHP down is a major loss... [:s]

    It might cost you a fair bit, but at least youll have a decent engine at the end of it.... [:^:]

    Sounds like the fuel pump or lift pump isn't upto the job.

    MAF sensor can give that fault and so can a faulty TPS.

    ;)

    Yes, Ill go there then. I cant be arsed keep chasing small things that I think might be wrong with it. At least if I go to Dubsport Ill know it will be right.
