The new digi ones are a lot harder to hack, I Suppose theoretically its possible but would require a lot of work everytime they changed the codes (which your skycard gets updated from your billing information via the box) Im sure there would be a way of tricking it. www.google.com is your friend
Sky digital cannot be hacked. Your friendly local sky installer should be able to give you a second subscription for free so that you can watch different channels in the bedroom etc
Even google seems to agree, Although i don't believe anything is "unhackable" it can be just require too much effort to hack it
you can get hacked NTL boxes easily enough. But Sky hasn't been hacked yet because it uses 128k encryption. Someone will do, sooner or later though. ANYTHING can be hacked.
what about telewest boxes, last time we had a fault with ours the guy got a box outta his van whicvh had no card in it and it gave him all the channels. It was only when they put my card in it and phoned some place that i got what i paid for.
when i was a student we had out NTL box hacked, we were had a 32" wide screen and every channel for free including the pron
the future isn't sky..... Got myself a proper receiver and a 1m motorized dish.... Swedish and French film channels galore (yes the films in english too) I just download the latest software and codes into the receiver and it will unlock almost anything.
lol, a pub near me has one of those big dishes. gets a load of mad portugese channels & the porn they show over there is mental
You can get receivers from as cheap as 60 - 70. Big dish and motor about 150. Most high street shops will sell the dish and motors. Receivers I buy from a small shop in west london.
Got our Digi-box hacked with the phone connector / telephone socket do-dah. 11 months down the road we're still going strong. Thing is, the dish was already on the house when we moved in and we got the box from the local market for 100. We just pay for the basic package and get every thing else free, because all the kit belongs to us we don't have to have it connected to the phone system. Occasionally it plays up a bit and we can't get anything, but if we turn it off for a few days it returns to normal (don't watch TV at the weekends anyway) Porns free, but it aint worth a w***. You don't need this, if your digibox is a certain model then you unplug the telephone after the film has started, leave it unplugged for 15 mins and it wipes the memory. Haven't paid for a film for months, was watching 3-4 per week at one point.
