Hej All. i have just startet to clean up my wires for my build. The problem is, my lambda connector have 4 wires in it. but i kan se one more black wire that is cut right befor the connector, i can trace the wire back to pin nr 65 in the ecu, and that is "Lambda Pin 3" The wires going in to lambda connector now is: Red/white - black/brown - Red - Green Do i need the black wire ? /simon
Pin 65 is an earth shield for wires out of pin 20 and 42, which connect to the sensor pin 4 and 3. You can find confirmation of that I wrote in the following link. https://clubgti.com/forums/index.php?threads/vw-abf-digifant-3-current-flow-diagram.283287/
Thanks for the info, but i am not that good at reading diagrams. can you exlpain, what i need to do with this wire ? should i go to a ground connection in the engine bay
