Hey all, The return and feed lines directly from the fuel rail on my ABF are looking a little worse for wear, showing cracks and signs of being perished so time to replace. I think the below part numbers are what I need but I can't find much on sizes. I think all injection golfs of this era use 7.5mm? Golf 037 133 988 L Return Hose 037 133 990 P Feed Hose Seat (my engine was originally from an Ibiza) 6K0 133 988 F Return Hose 6K0 133 990 F Feed Hose Anyone able to confirm that this regular 8mm R9 spec fuel hose such as this is suitable? Cheers!
I used continental 8mm 10bar fuel/oil hose, four years back when megasquirting my 9A corrado (with ABF intake and injectors), no problem.
if you feed the abf numbers into ebay you may find them, VW classic parts started re-producing them recently. I've got a full set stashed for a rainy day. the original size for injection fuel lines is 7mm, but 8mm is usually close enough
Thanks guys. Yeah looks like one of them is available surprisingly (Mk3 looks slightly different shape to the 'Biza one) The other think I'll have to go with cut to size hose
I'm using mk3 ones on mine no problem, guess one of them has gone out of stock. glad I got in there when I did
just popped out to have a look at it, hose is marked NBR/CR which looks to be E10 resistant which is good news, though by the time I fit probably be some other fuel spec https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_info.php?language=en&products_id=488840
