lot of hassle for something you can just buy.

but if you want to do it, the gearbox is different, and the peddle box will need to be changed also for the hydro clutch. engine loom will just plug in

the hydro clutch slave cylinder bolts into the bulkhead so nto sure whether the 8v would have the holes already - prob not? so you would have to cut the hole for it. the peddle box should just bolt in in place for the other one which with the dash off isn't too bad a job.

is the 16v later? could upgrade to 288 brakes whilst your there

Doesn't sound too hard to do then? Or is it a case of easier said than done? Nah it's 280mm brakes mate

Rome was not built in a day dont you know!

It takes time to build such concours winning motor vehicles, especially when you have to ask how to do every single job!

Has the new owner of the car seen any of this story yet?

personally im not convinced the car he sold was the smashed up one in question, too much work would of needed doing and he doesnt seem to have the knowledge. Is it possible he owned 2 accident damaged mystic blue mk3s? Still think hes guilty of fraud for using someone elses dyno prints though.
