    That has been a labour of love. Don't think I could sustain the enthusiasm. Car does you credit.

    Yes the enthusiasm did disappear for a couple of years here and there . It was the now wife's daily when she was 18 and I blew up the diff and said don't worry I'll fix it. Only took 17 years . At least now I can sort out my r5 turbo (raider) which was laid up the same time as her's was. I'm hoping it won't take as long

    Did you smooth the arches / sill covers yourself?, bet it took an age to do!.

    Almost too good to drive.

    They had already been done before I got the car 20 years ago, but I did have to do the arch's as I replaced the GTi one's for g60. Lots of sanding and high build primer.

    It's original colour schwazblau L52M . (Black blue)

    Yeah it's a great colour for a standard base colour. It sort of flips between black, blue and purple depending on what angle you look at it.

    Stunning MK2 buddy. And I must say, its nice to see a 90 spec colour-coded big bumper kit again ( I had one many moons ago [:D] ).
