Context - MK2 Golf with MK3 VR6 gearbox. I have been considering changing the gearshift on the Golf due to the shockingly bad feel of the current MK3 shift arrangement. There only seem to be two options, Coolerworx or CAE. CAE is very expensive and not really an option (neither is the other at the moment but will be the chosen one if it happens). I don’t necessarily want shorter shift. Are there any other options and does anyone have any of these fitt3d and what are your experiences?
