   Hi i have a 9A engine in my mk2 and the starter is getting a bit tired , i have a spare starter from my Ibiza (AGG) .
   Does any one no if they are the same and it will fit .

   if your car has a rod change gearbox then yes, it'll bolt straight in. the plug on the back for the trigger wire is different, but the old spade connector will still push into the plug housing. mk3/seat have a big chunky plug which clips on, rather than the old spade connector
