Anyone clued up on engine conversions? I've taken a 1.6 auto out (91 - ce2) and fitted a mk3 AGG. I'm having a few issues! I've got no spark - not even the immobiliser start/stop? I've got spark from initial key turn then nothing at all.... I've split the loom up from the mk3 so all it does is the engine. Lights and fan work from the mk2 loom. Any ideas? Been a very long time since I retro fitted one of these! I'm wondering if I've overlooked something daft

diagnostics first step, check for codes (and you can actually scan it in the first place) then look at engine speed measuring block. if it doesnt go up while cranking, then its the crank sensor or wiring to it
