Agreed value

    How many of you have agreed value insurance? How much is the agreed value on your car? I am thinking about it for the Jetta as book price is probably just short of bugger all. It would be interesting to hear your opinions and/or experiences of this. HIC said they can do an agreed value on my car for about 15 extra on the premium.

    15 extra! Go for it mate!

    Even if it's not agreed for very much, at least you know exactly what you'll get for it. Sureley that's worth 15 of anyone's money?

    Yeah something like 10-20 but not all insurance people will do it.......
    mines agreed at 3500.
