Will audi a3 gear shifter work is this o2j. Code is 1k0711061A many thanks finding hard to find a shifter there all 100plus crazy
1k0 is mk5 era type, it'll probably go in as a set but isnt the mk4 selector most use. need earlier (but not too early ) a3, tt, bora, skoda, seat etc 1j0
as its a mk3 if you can find the polo 6n/caddy/ibiza type 02j shifter its almost a direct bolt in fit. early mk3 bolts right in, later mk3 you just need to drill andtap a hole in the front of the shifter to insert a stud for front fixing. either way no tunnel mods required
ah ok, X reg is quite early so will probably be the '02A style' one, you're looking from around 2001-2004 ish
