    Hi
Jay doing my loom, I have a question following rubjonnys guide t10w7 green/white goes to G1/3 but also says unused on petrol engines should I take it to G1/3
Also the alternator dfm, the existing loom for it which has the correct 2 pin plug only has the exciter wire to it so dfm was never wired to the alternator but the wire is there from the ecu?

That pin is used on diesel engines for the fuel relay, do you have a wire there?

Dfm you can wire if you want but it won't affect running of the engine

Yeah the MK2 pump swaps and is the right offset for the pulley. Some find the 20v pump is ok and some don't,,from what I gather there are 2 designs

Ok ideal. I’ve finished the loom I think I’ve got all right double checked everything and seems to all be going to the right places. I did have one question though is g2/9 a permanent live?

I have a track slag down pipe and the right flywheel.
Do people delete the m249 valve on these mostly or leave them in

yep g2/9 is perm live. you could use it just for the thin wire for your ecu feed same as the VR6 do, but it wont take much load

n249 is your call really, I'd leave it in personally

    Hi
Yeah I did use it for ecu thin wire and ob2 permanent live.
Wire loom is in lots of plugs on the Fusebox end by the time you’ve added brake and clutch switch, vss coil relay etc isn’t there.
got an Intercooler aswell now, cheap 2nd hand off eBay from a guy with a peugeot diesel with some silicon hoses works a treat I’ve gone for a twin pass just need to get some longer Intercooler pipes. I ordered the wrong size adaptor for throttle body down to the Intercooler pipe so got to order the right one of those too.
Made up some radiator brackets to bring the rad forward to fit the Intercooler just got to finish them
Up not made the brackets for the Intercooler yet only got it tonight and tried it for size.
