    Hi All

The yellow battery light on my 2004 Mk1 TT 225 keeps coming on and goes away after awhile while drving recently
Car has had a new battery few months back and I replaced the Alternator pulley as the original one was basically seized
However I still get the light while driving. Voltage is showing 14.2-14.4 which seems to be fine

So the only other part I think could be causing the problem is the Voltage regulator
I have a bosch alternator so have been looking for a bosch replacement
The one fitted has two part numbers:
F 00M 145 261 - printed on the front - matches Audi part number: 078 903 803 E. I can find this on autodoc but is out of stock everywhere
F 00M 145 431 - moulded on the rear - cant find anything on this number

Called Audi and they said the part number for my car is 070 903 803 E which matches to Bosch no: F 00M A45 303 Which I can find on Autodoc but no where else

Question is which do I try to find and replace mine with? The two look the same on photos when compared to mine but I dont want to end up fitting the wrong one

    Hope someone can help

    Thanks :)

078903803E superceeded by 078903803EX, 070903803B then finally 070903803E. so any of these will do you fine
