as the title suggests, there is an annoying squeak coming from the rear of the car when driving. i thought it was the bushes on the strut mounts, so ive replaced them with polybushes, but it's still there. anybody ever had similar problems, or any ideas were its coming from? only other thing i can think on is some of the trim panels, suppose its just the fun of an old wagon driving you mad with squeaks and rattles. lol.
dose it sound like it is coming from the left side of the car in the boot? if so i have this squeak and took all the boot apart and its still there have no clue to what it could be just the fun of having a old girl
i listed this problem before and it turned out to be to tailgate stricker was not correctly positioned, it only needed moving inwards by a couple of mm and a little grease then job done for me, also put a small amount of grease on the boot light switch stricker cos that creates a little noise of its own too, good luck.
smp1987 - its that very noise am on about lad, does ur head in dosent it lol and cums from the left hand side somwer. dc75 - funny when you mention that about the boot light trigger switch, cos its only really started since i put the switch onto it, you see its a driver an she had no light or switch just a blanking plug. must try this when i get home tonight.
by any chance when wer on the subject of squeaks and rattles, anybody ever had a rattley vibration from the front right speaker when driving. i have removed it and put it back on thinkin it wasnt tight enough but to my annoyance its still bloody doing it lol.
right that bugger is getting sorted as soon as it stop raining I was going to ask what it was about a month ago but i thought i would try and sort it myself but i had no idea it was that little thing
