Another dog

    (with a tail :lol: ) but also with a silly hair cut. I thought it would be cheaper to buy a pair of clippers than taking him to the poodle parlour. Result - one embarrassed dog and a trip to the poodle parlour!!!

    Still having the problem of exposing properly for the white bits, without losing the dark bits of him! [:^(]

    Hi Stella, practice and you will get it right. I have two English Setters and have done my own trimming for the past 33 years. Apart from the clippers you will need some thinning scissors, decent ones, for blending the lines. You will also need the correct clipper blade unless you have bought ones with a static, but it's still possible with a fine blade. Setters, like Spaniels grow very long hair on ears and neck.
