Hi Gary, I remeber seeing all those M3's for the 1st time it was a bit of a double take I can tell you, I guess there must have been close to 600,000 to 700,000 worth of cars left out in the open in the middle of the countryside! I guess I'm used to living up here where if it's not locked away it'll get taken [:^(]

I read the ring report on your site was a really interesting read  glad you all had a good time and came back one in piece, was a shame to hear about the few incidents and breakdowns plus the weather but I guess it all adds to the ring knowledge and experience, been having a look through everyones photo's on here I see theres still no shortage of exotica kicking round over there :p Was really interested to see the museum photo's too there looks like there was plenty of new things to see there, most car museums seem to have the same exhibits year in year out so it makes a refreshing change :)

The M3/M5 vid is awesome, downloaded it yesterday and watched it at home. He laps in about 8 mins 30 secs and it certainly seems pretty quick. Shame about the music on the vid, would rather have heard the engine noise! :p

Gary - cheers, would like to see the NSX vid if possible. [:D]

Pete - are you coming on next years trip? You might beat me for the 'furthest travelled to Dover' award!

I've been in a 3 series BMW that did a similar stunt at Ad forst :o

The driver (Euan Hendry, you might recognise the name from Lovejoys trip reports)) couldn't aplogise enough.

All I said was "It's ok, we didn't hit anything, c'mon let's carry on"

Have been watching a video called "Faszination Nurburgring Cockpit - Special 3" at the Autosport show. It was showing on the Recaro stand.

Highly recommmended stuff - in car footage from Manthey GT3s, M3 GTRs, Opel Astra V8s, taken from the VLN long distance races. Awesome watching them overtake off line in various places.

    Available from www.wb-video.de

Not sure if any samples on the site..
