i gotta feeling these are fitted with orange indicator bulbs!!! but fitted with chrome indicator bulbs - look nice

Helllo again - lol - thread drag up - anyway an update



Testament to VW, This has been standing for over a year - put jump leads on and it fired on the 2nd turn

Window seals were mega green with all kinds of crap coming out, but overall it's not faired too bad considering it's not moved since it was SORN'd in Jan 07' and it's stayed dry & clean inside

Only thing is I gotta decide what I'm gonna do with it, I've owned it 12 years and it's pretty worthless now :wacko:

still looks a gorgeous colour... has the paint that has been hidden by that bush stayed a darker colour than the rest of it since its been standing?

 

Paint overall has pretty much stood the test of time and crap lol - I didnt notice any difference in colour, fron bumper has gone pretty grey due to being hit with all the sun.

Yeah Wez, house is sold and staying in this job I think - Need to find another home for it end of this month, may put it in storage up in Banbury, just thinking how to get it shifted up there ( I'm in Aylesbury )

It's one of those demon cars where I can't let myself part with it, think you all know what I mean

It'll come alive again one day

my god you got quoted 2500 for an 8v MK2!!! When I was 19 I insured my MK3 valver for 2300 fully comp - no no claims and driving 18months....

where do you live? liverpool?
