    The first ones were x plate so 2000/01

    Were they all 150bhp ones?

    the standard cupra which began on an X plate were all 156bhp.

    The Cupra R, which came out on a 51 plate IIRC, were all 180bhp, with 4 pot brembos as standard.

    They were all drive by wire aswell....

    Good cars, just dont buy a blue 1!

    Is the a big difference in price between the Cupra and Cupra R? Is the eaxtra power from a bigger turbo or ecu map?

    And also has anyone got a pic of the dashboard in both the Cupra and Cupra R?

    R engine is just a remap and dash is basically the same except for oil and volt guages. All the ino you need on cupranet
