So, bought pads and discs for my 98 Mk3 8v from GSF and set about dismantling car. Got calipers off, took one look at the pads - they'd given me the wrong fffing pads! So, back to GSF showing them the used pads, guy took one look and pulled out pads for mk4 and they were the same! - and the pads are directional! Anybody else got/seen these? BTW, the new pads were a tenner more but that was waived by GSF - nice guys, crap computer system.
Only reason I can see them being directional is for the wear indicator wiring (only on one side?, could be talking sh1t though!
