Hi guys. Been looking for insurance on my mk3 gti 2.0 8v, HIC managed to get me a deal at 1050, which is the best so far. Footman James won't quote Brentacre 1250 which is still in the running as they'll let me modify the car Adrian flux 1500 Green light either won't quote or we're too high, I can't remember Anyone had a good deal anywhere else? I'm 23 and have access to 2 other vehicles as a named driver no ncd as a result.
Personally, the 200 extra Brentacre are quoting is worth it given the modifying freedom they give you (as long as you stay under the set power limit) I've been using them for 10 years now, and they've been totally hassle free. Customer service is outstanding. Adrian Flux are about the worst there is when it comes to customer service or having to deal with a claim. And HIC are part of Adrian Flux...
Probably a bit late but; HIC were a nightmare when I had a claim. Also been with Brentacre who were very good and knowledgable. Probably worth seeing if they could match your HIC quote.
