Looking for some feedback on Pesch Fibreglass panels.

Im thinking of buying the bonnet and tailgate for my track mk2.

Whats the fitment like? will they bolt onto the original hinges etc?

Obviously not expecting oem fit but dont want to spend days trying to get the things to fit!

Going to be using pins and latches so really just need to bolt on, fit in hole and look presentable!

What was the transaction / delivery process like?

Anyone got any unused that are looking to sell?

Are they UK or non-UK based?

They'd have to be cheap for me to justify the transport risk.

Smith & Deakin + others in the UK feel like a safer bet.

Just had a look, would cost 3x Pesch - Quality does look to be much better though. but does push the mod outside my price range.

Still would be very interested to hear from any Pesch customers as they have offered me such a good deal!

just ran the Pesch site through google translate thing.

the bonnet and boot Appear to just be skins, "no internal frame" so you won't be able to use origonal mountings, probably just have them on pins on each corner and lift off rather than hinged.

something to consider as the performance trim ones are pretty much exact copies of OE ones so can use hinges etc. which is why there more expensive.

if its just skins your after performance trim can provide these also I beleive, should be closer priced to the Pesch ones.

Ok thanks - hence such a good price!

Spoke to smith and deaken today - they now do mk2 panels and are matching the mk1 price on the website. seems by far the best bet.
