    Hi

    I've just bought a modified MK2 8 valve 1.8 GTI on an F plate.

It's been lowered and fitted with BMW alloys.

Unfortunately every time I hit a bump or brake hard and turn into a corner my wheels rub on the arches causing them to literally shred!!

I've heard you can get the arches rolled but what does this mean and who would do it?

Is it expensive and are there any other solutions?

    Thanks for any constructive answers

    Bob

bmw alloys have lower off sets than golf alloys so they sit furthur out in the arch.

iirc it costs about 120 for arch rolling.or get the angle grinder out grind them back and then rustproof them
