ive been tempted lately by the idea of having everything original in my mk3 and i was browsing the web for the OEM highline speakers. in fact i was searching for the tweeters, the dash and the rear ones. i have a pair of DIY tweeters in the dash which i managed to create with some cheapo tweeters and cardboard, but the angle isnt exactly the same as in the retaining plastic of the original tweeters. this may affect a bit the sound i suppose. in the rear i have no tweeters. anybody has got the original setup in their mk3? ignoring the mid and bass loudspeakers, do they sound well? (i intend to find good mid and bass aftermarket drivers) do they look well? are they worthy for first or second hand ebay?
